Founder and conductor of the Reykjavik Opera Choir since 1974. Founder and conductor of Reykjavik Symphony Orchestra 1975 – 1980. Founder and artistic director of The Icelandic Opera 1979 – 2000.

Margrét Bóasdóttir – general director
Master´s degree in voice and voice teaching from Hochschule für Musik, Heidelberg – Mannheim and MBA degree from the University of Iceland. Has been active as soloist, choir conductor and voice teacher. Founder and organizer of Choir Festival at Lake Mývatn since 2003 and Summer Concerts at Lake Mývatn since 1987.

Guðríður St. Sigurðardóttir (Gurry) – project manager
Master´s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA and MBA degree from the University of Iceland.Has been active in most fields of classical music; years of experience working with choirs and has also been employed as project manager for cultural choir tours to and from Iceland. |
