Gefðu að móðurmálið mitt - God grant that in my mother tongue,
God grant that in my mother tongue,
Thy gospel may be sounded,
To rich and poor, to old and young,
Its blessings be expounded,
O'er vale and glen
By lip and pen,
To each remotest dwelling,
While Thy strong hand
Safeguards our land,
Dangers and foes repelling.

Laul põhjamaast - A Song of the Nordic Land
1. Nordic land, our homeland, the land of winds and stormy nights; rigorous and strong land, the land of the northern lights. Nordic land, our homeland, the land of ancient fir forests, the land of waves and coasts, I will not leave you.
2. A forest house is sunken in snow, wintry roads are quiet. So gentle are the church bells when they sing in the snow.
3. Nordic land, our homeland, dearest land of rough men, the land of fighting, our sacred homeland. Nordic land, our homeland, I still have you in my soul. You are dear even if we are far away, I will not leave you.

Kungla rahvas - People of Kungla
1. When the people of Kungla in the golden times sat down to eat, then Vanemuine started to play the harp. He went to play in the forest; he went to sing in the forest.
2. A bird, a tree and the animals got their song. The sea, the forest and all Estonians sang together.
3. The song sounded beautifully and people put wreaths on their head. And the Estonian people got to see the daughters of mother earth.
4. I'm playing on the sod of the hill and outside until late at night. And the sound of Vanemuine’s harp is in my hearth.

Uusi sointu - A new tone
Where ever my dear I will go, Your picture follows me.
It accompanies me in the daytime, it´s with me during the night.
You are the skylarks´ song in the morning, the twinkle of a star in the evening
and the rain of the spring in wintertime.
You make the tree of my hearth burst into leaf and blossom in the summer,
as the birds of Your eyes settles in the nest on it´s branch.
My soul hear a lot of bright tones, the tones of happiness.
I create a new song of You, I come back to life in You.
Aa.. come back to life.

Vísur Vatnsenda-Rósu – Verses by Vatnsenda-Rosa.
My eyes and your eyes
Oh, those lovely gems.
Mine is yours and yours is mine
You know what I´m thinking.
It was long ago I saw him.
Truly handsome he was.
With all that may grace a man
he was endowed beyond all others.
I mourn for you more than all others
worn out by constant weeping.
Oh, that we had never met
dearly beloved friend.

Dansa Kicki - Dance Kicki
Dance, Kicki, dance now, the day has dawned!
Dance, Kicki, dance, the day is yours!
Death (the man with the scythe) that you met in the nightmare
Longs to dance the last dance with you.
Now in your eyes the day is dawning.
See, how faced with the light he falls and flees.
Dance Kicki, dance now, the day has come!
Dance Kicki, dance, the day is yours!
Dance Kicki, dance, you are carried by the light!
Dance, Kicki, dance, twirl in the wind!
Dance, Kicki, dance so, the Light is eternal!
Dance, Kicki, dance, The Light is now!
The Light is eternal and the Light is now!
Dance, Kicki, dance then, the Light is heaven!
Dance, Kicke, dance, the Light is you!
The Light is heaven and the Light is you!

Uti var hage - in Our Meadow
In our meadow the blueberries grow.
Come heart´s delight.
If you want me our tryst will be there.
Come lilies, come columbine,
Come roses, come salvia
Come lovely catmint, come heart´s delight.
Lovely little flows invite us to dance.
Come heart´s delight.
If you like I will make you a wreath.
Come lilies….
In our meadow the blueberries grow.
Come heart´s delight.
But you are dearer to me than all others.
Come lilies….

Put vejini – Blow wind.
Blow wind, drive my boat,
Drive me to Kurzeme.
A woman from Kurzeme promised me
Her daughter as a bride.
She promised, but did't fill the promise,
Calling me a drunkard.
She called me a drunkard
And a horse racer.
Where is the tavern in which I drank too much,
Whose horse did I run down?
I drink for my own money,
And ride my own horse.
Blow wind, drive my boat,
Drive me to Kurzeme.
